AMBULATORY
WHEELCHAIR
Rides for patients who do not need equipment to travel and who are able to walk, or only need basic assistance, Ex: patients who are capable of meeting their driver on the curb, getting in and out of the car unassisted, and walking into their appointment.
Our van is equipped with a lift and a mechanism to secure the wheelchair, the transport specialist wheels the patient to the van, safely raises the patient into the van on the lift, secures the patient’s wheelchair and transports the patient to their destination.
BARIATRIC WHEELCHAIR
STRETCHER
Made for patients weighing 300 pounds or more. All bariatric wheelchairs are designed with extra strength and weight-bearing capacity in order to safely transport patients. The size of the chair is larger, allowing for greater patient comfort.
Rides for patients who have limited mobility or require a stretcher in vehicles with specialized systems and equipment.
BARIATRIC STRETCHER
BLS (BASIC LIFE SUPPORT)
A flat, padded stretcher with a variable-height and collapsible sturdy wheeled frame to accommodate and transport patients of 300 pounds or more.
Rides with certified Emergency Medical Technicians, who can provide basic life support for patients.
